Torsten Posselt (1979 Dresden, Germany) is a graphic designer, visual artist and art director. He studied at the University of Applied Sciences (Dresden) before studying visual communication at the University of Arts (Berlin) with a diploma in printmaking and visual communication.

In 2011 he co-founded the multidisciplinary Berlin-based design studio „FELD“ and worked primarily as managing partner and design director until 2019. He led the design and production of numerous projects for notable brands like Reebok and Volkswagen, research facilities like the Fraunhofer Institute (Munich), and cultural institutions like the Barbican Centre (London). Studio Torsten Posselt was officially founded in 2020 to put Posselt’s craft on a further stage and to be his creative focal point.

His award-winning artworks have been the visual pairing to the music of renowned artists like Nils Frahm and Ólafur Arnalds, now iconic to the catalogue of respected records labels like Erased and Mercury KX. He has developed a personal and unique design language which transcends traditional graphic design with the power of ever-changing modern media technologies.

Posselt has given talks about his practice and held workshops and panels about design processes and packaging. You can see his works featured in the books MIN – The New Simplicity in Graphic Design and Collector’s Edition – Innovative Packaging and Graphics by Stuart Tolley and Album Art – New Music Graphics by John Foster published by Thames and Hudson.
